Please only include the percentage of students who receive school meals due to means testing, i.e. for England and Wales, year 3 and above; for Scotland, P4 and above; for Northern Ireland, all years.

Look up your school's national deprivation ranking by entering the school postcode on the government website for your country and downloading the data file: IDACISIMD, WIMD, or NIMDM.

Once you have downloaded the data using your country's deprivation index, the number you need is your school's rank, e.g. 'IDACI Rank' in column W for English schools.

About the activity

Grants are valid for the full Ri Science in Schools package: two performances of your chosen student show for different age groups, a CPD session for teachers, and a twilight community show. Further details of all sessions can be found on the Science in Schools website.

Each performance of your chosen student show can be tailored for ages 4-7, 7-11, or 11-14.

If national COVID-19 restrictions are in place at the time your shows are delivered, an additional student show may be offered as a substitute.
